Multiple concurrent sessions
With TigerTerm, you can set up multiple concurrent sessions to any number of hosts, each with its own configuration which can be stored as icons on your desktop for fast access.
Valuable user tools
TigerTerm has a number of tools to make working with host applications even easier:
- The back page option lets you scroll back through previous screens.
- The command stacker can recall any recently sent command.
- The save session feature enables you to save any setup details for fast recall including host, communication and terminal setup and to assign a custom icon to the session. Macros can be run on start-up to automate log in and application start up if required (see on for more details about macros).
- The disable menu options feature enables you grey out any TigerTerm menu option to ensure users cannot change setup and other information.
Flexible and adaptable display settings
TigerTerm's display settings let you adjust your terminal to exactly the appearance you require. TigerTerm supports scalable fonts to enable you to size your terminal window to precisely the setting needed. The display size is completely flexible with multiple row and column sizes including 132 column wide display. Screen attributes such as colour are fully mappable and adjustable. In addition, TigerTerm supports true-type fonts to provide a genuine Windows-like appearance.
Comprehensive keyboard mapping
To cope with the varied demands of host applications, TigerTerm provides a fully mappable keyboard. There's a graphical keyboard mapping feature for fast and easy mapping of keys to specific characters or common functions as well as macros (see down).
Full printing support
TigerTerm enables you to setup a printer for printing screens and printing to a locally attached printer. Print output can be set to a file, assign local (slave) host printing and to define graphics support for printing.
Powerful macro language
With TigerTerm's powerful macro language, you can automate common procedures to make them easy to carry out. You can create macros either by using Tigerterm's Macrorecorder, or by writing them as a program in TigerTerm's macro language. The macro language uses a Visual Basic-like construction and includes functions for if/then logic, looping, sending messages and receiving responses. [ More ]
Simple integration with host and Windows applications
For fast transfer of information from your host to other Windows application, TigerTerm provides cut and paste both to and from the terminal window. In addition, TigerTerm supports Dynamic Data Exchange to transfer data between Windows applications automatically. For example, you could setup TigerTerm to exchange data dynamically with Word.
